Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your Arusha hotel for an evening of rest.
Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
- Depart for Lake Manyara, known for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and large flocks of flamingos along the lake. Enjoy a game drive and lunch, then overnight in a nearby lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara – Ndutu Region (Southern Serengeti)
- Head to the Ndutu region, part of the Serengeti ecosystem. During the migration season, this area is filled with wildebeest, zebras, and predators following the herds. Settle into your camp, where you’ll spend the next two nights.
Day 4: Full Day in Ndutu – Migration Viewing
- Spend the day exploring Ndutu, tracking the herds and observing the fascinating behavior of wildlife during the calving season. Evening relaxation at your camp.
Day 5: Ndutu to Central Serengeti
- After a morning game drive in Ndutu, travel to Central Serengeti. The game drive en route offers views of lions, cheetahs, and a variety of other wildlife. Overnight in Central Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
- Morning game drive in Central Serengeti, then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Settle into your lodge near the crater for an evening of rest.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha Departure
- Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Experience the dense population of wildlife before heading back to Arusha for your departure or hotel drop-off.
